Waking up

Talking to Mommy as we were getting ready for bed.

HANNAH: Mommy, you woke me up early today.

MOMMY: I did? Well we needed to go to school.

HANNAH: Don't you know you're not supposed to wake people up?

MOMMY: I'm not? But we were going to be late.

HANNAH: well, I didn't like it. You woke me early.

Odds and ends this week

Mommy trying to get Hannah to put on her pants.
HANNAH: but mommy, my legs won't move. They just don't work.

Dress that I ordered arrived in the mail.
HANNAH: You're dress is just boootiful!!!!! You'll look so bootiful in your dress!!!!! (with just as much excitement as I have put !!!!!!)

Mommy telling Hannah we have to wake up early tomorrow b/c Mommy has to go to medical school and Hannah has to go to preschool.
HANNAH: But when I get big I will go to medical school too.
MOMMY: Yes, you can go to medical school. But no lab okay (i.e no PhD)? You don't want to work in the lab, do you? (She LOVES the lab, has visited with me. Thinks it neat)
HANNAH: Momy, I want to work in the lab WITH you! (Awww..the greatest collaboration ever!!!)

Noodle

Hannah loves Mommy's homemade chicken noodle soup. We have it all the time when the weather is cold outside! But don't dare call us a noodle!

HANNAH/MOMMY: we love noodles. Oodles and oodles of noodle!

DADDY: Hannah you are a noodle.

HANNAH: I'm not a noodle. You're a noodle daddy.

Starbucks

Hannah got her first taste of Starbucks (well, maybe like 3!!!) over the Christmas break. I got her a child's hot chocolate...after the first sip she was hooked!!! She may not be able to have coffee until she is big but she definitely know's what a Starbucks hot chocolate is!!!

it's wake up time!

Since I am auditing a course, we've had to get up early for school. It hasn't been easy for any of us...trsut me. It's been trying most days and it was only the first week and a short one at that! Here's our conversation one morning:

MOMMY: Hannah, wake up. It's wake up time (this is what Hannah tells me in the morning when she is ready to get up and wants me to do the same).

HANNAH: I can't wake up. I just can't. My legs won't let me.

Jinger Bells

All through the holidays Hannah was singing "Jinger (yes, people jinger instead of jingle) bells, jinger bells, jinger all the way..." It was too cute. Many of our families got to hear Hannah's rendition over Christmas break. I will try to get her to sing it again while recording on my camera.
